Carlos Gomez collected four hits, including two triples, and Alfredo Figaro gave up just three hits over seven innings to lead Milwaukee to a 10-1 victory over Miami on Wednesday night.

The game could not have gotten off to a better start for the Brewers, when three out of the first four batters reached base and Jonathan Lucroy cleared the bases with his fourth triple of the season. #MILYES! Nori Aoki singled to right, Jean Segura recorded an out, followed by Gomez's single and Aramis Ramirez's HBP. All scored when Lucroy's ball found just the right spot to land and slowly roll to the wall while Lucroy's teammates zoomed around the bases.

Figaro pitched a gem to collect his first win of the season. He went seven strong innings, giving up just three hits and no walks or runs with four strikeouts. #MILYES! Figaro gave up a first inning single to Ed Lucas and didn't surrender another hit until Lucas singled again to open the seventh inning. By then Milwaukee commanded a 10-0 lead and Lucas's hit, followed by a single by Giancarlo Stanton, seemed like a mere blip on the Brewers' path to victory. Figaro would get out of the two-on-and-no-one-out seventh inning with a double play and a pop fly in foul territory.

The only run for the Marlins scored on a fielder's choice in the ninth inning off Burke Badenhop. Meanwhile, the Brewers had more than enough offense to go around, even without Ryan Braun, who sat out his third straight game. Segura hit his tenth homer of the season to lead off the second inning and Gomez scored three runs with four hits, including two triples [the writer recommends that the reader make a motorboat sound right now]. Nori Aoki scored two runs and collected two hits, and Figaro helped his own cause with two (Miami defense aided) hits. #MILYES!

Milwaukee has an off day on Thursday and then travels to Cincinnati on Friday for a 6:10 game.
