Brewers lose again to Phillies, 5-1

We're dead out of witty headlines, much like the offense is dead out of scoring.

Leading with the good stuff: At least the bullpen was awesome! Major points to Donovan Hand and Burke Badenhop for pitching the last 4 innings and not giving up any runs!

The bad stuff is that the Brewers still have nearly no offense, Wily Peralta took 99 pitches to throw 5 innings, and Scooter Gennett has horrible defense and no ability to communicate with Jean Segura.

The first inning started the mess for the Crew as Peralta immediately got into trouble by giving up singles to the first 3 hitters. After one scored on a sacrifice, he walked Domonic Brown to load the bases again and then released a wild pitch that caused another runner to score.

In the very next inning, he walked Cloyd (THE PITCHER) who then scored from first on a John Mayberry double.

The Brewers scored their only run because Ryan Braun had a leadoff walk. He stole second and advanced home on successive groundouts.
