Somebody fell asleep last night and didn't recap. That was me. I fell asleep. Sorry.

It's just as well, Wily Peralta was beginning-of-the-season Peralta and not last-two-months Peralta. He allowed eight runs (five earned) over 3.2 innings as the Rockies posted a four-spot in both the second and fourth innings.

Meanwhile the Brewers offense couldn't get much going against Tyler Chatwood and was held scoreless until the sixth inning. Norichika Aoki singled in Rickie Weeks after Weeks led off with a double. Jean Segura followed with a single, then two batters later Logan Schafer hit an RBI groundout.

The Brewers added on one more via a Carlos Gomez home run, but that's it. Chatwood went seven innings with two earned runs, 11 strikeouts and no walks.

The Brewers and Rockies play again tonight with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 CT.
