Poll: Let Scooter play

Even before he hit two homers Wednesday, most Brewer fans wanted to see Scooter Gennett at second base.

Rick Yeatts

This week's Brew Crew Ball Tracking Poll was open from noon Monday through Tuesday and received 178 responses. Here are some notable results:

  • With Rickie Weeks out for the season, 84% of voters want to see Scooter Gennett as the Brewers' primary second baseman. It's worth noting that most of those votes were cast before his two home run game Tuesday night.
  • Voters are undecided on what to do with Wily Peralta's workload. 46% of fans (82 voters) want the Brewers to take steps to limit his innings down the stretch, while another 46% (81 voters) think they shouldn't.
  • The pitchers' recent performance has won some fans back for Rick Kranitz. His approval rating is up 17 points from two weeks ago (now sitting at 37%) and only 32% of voters think he should be fired, down from 45% in our last poll.

The full results are below.
