There are still 20 days left in the 2013 regular season, but it's never too early to start looking ahead to 2014.
Major League Baseball released the 2014 regular season schedule today, starting with games between the Diamondbacks and Dodgers in Sydney, Australia on March 22-23. The Brewers open the season a week later, hosting the Braves at Miller Park on March 30.
Interleague play starts early for the Brewers next season, as they head to Boston in the second series of the season on April 4-6. They'll also face the Yankees and Orioles in May, the Twins in a home-and-home four game series the first week in June, the Blue Jays and Rays in July and the Blue Jays again in August.
This will be the third time the Brewers have traveled to Boston since 2008. The Red Sox last visited Miller Park in 2003. Here are the other most recent encounters with 2014 interleague opponents:
|Team||Location||Last Meeting||Last Meeting @ location|
|Twins||Home and Away||2013||2013|
|Blue Jays||Home and Away||2012||2012 in Milwaukee, 2005 in Toronto|
MLB rules require that teams can play no more than 20 consecutive games without a day off. The Brewers have one such streak in June, but that's the only one. They wrap up the season on September 26-28 with a three game set against the Cubs at Miller Park.
