Estrada, Gallardo, Gennett, Henderson or Thornburg: Who will be Brewer of the Week?

Starting pitching was the story this week, but were any of them the week's top performer?

Here are this week's BotW nominees:

Marco Estrada bounced back from ten days off and pitched 6.2 innings against the Cardinals on Wednesday, allowing a single run on just two hits with three walks and six strikeouts. He was worth +.385 WPA this week.

Yovani Gallardo pitched seven innings against the Cubs on Sunday and allowed a run on three hits, walking one and striking out six. He was worth +.217 WPA this week.

Scooter Gennett had hits in all six games this week, including multi-hit games in all three contests with the Cardinals. He had three doubles and a home run for a .450/.476/.750 batting line and +.285 WPA.

Jim Henderson made three relief appearances this week and recorded three saves, holding opposing batters to a single run on one hit with no walks and three strikeouts. He was worth +.198 WPA.

Tyler Thornburg pitched six innings against the Cardinals on Thursday on nine days of rest, allowing two runs on three hits with two walks and six strikeouts. He was worth +.175 WPA this week.
