Aoki, Estrada, Lohse, Lucroy or Ramirez: Who will be Brewer of the Week?

New, comments

The rookies may be the story down the stretch, but this week's best five Brewers were all members of the Opening Day roster.

This is one of the best groups of BotW nominees we've seen all season.

Norichika Aoki had 13 hits in seven games this week, including four against the Cardinals last Friday and three against the Braves on Wednesday. He hit .448/.515/.586 this week and was worth +.344 WPA.

Marco Estrada pitched seven shutout innings against the Braves on Monday, allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out six. He was worth +.374 WPA this week.

Kyle Lohse pitched a complete game shutout against the Braves on Wednesday, holding them to two hits and striking out five without issuing a walk. He was worth +.464 WPA this week.

Jonathan Lucroy had a hit in all seven games this week (eight game streak overall), including a home run and three doubles. He hit .320/.400/.560 this week and was worth +.455 WPA.

Aramis Ramirez only appeared in five games this week but still had eight hits, including a pair of home runs, and drove in seven runs. He hit .471/.444/.824 this week and was worth +.493 WPA.

Honorable mentions this week include Scooter Gennett, Brandon Kintzler and Yovani Gallardo.
