- With the Winter Meetings starting on Monday, the rumors will be flying fast. In preparation for the meetings, Derek looked at some Brewers who are potential trade candidates.

- Joe Maddon is starting to build his staff in Chicago, bringing bench coach Dave Martinez over from the Rays to be his bench coach in Chicago.
Around Baseball
- The Yankees, Diamondbacks, and Tigers agreed to a three-team trade this morning. Full details are not out yet, but what we know so far is shortstop Didi Gregorius is going to the Yankees, starting pitcher Robbie Ray is going to the Diamondbacks, and starting pitcher Shane Greene is going to the Tigers.
- The June draft is still six months away, but it's not too early to look at some of the candidates. Jim Callis looks at some prospects to watch as the 2015 draft approaches.
- In the Rays managerial search, Raul Ibanez has withdrawn his name from consideration. This leaves just Kevin Cash and Don Wakamatsu in their search.
- After eight years in MLB, Daisuke Matsuzaka is returning to Japan to pitch for the Softbank Hawks.
- Paul Molitor is planning to make some changes to the Twins clubhouse. One of the changes he is considering is limiting the playing of music in the clubhouse, as well as use of smartphones.
- Miller Park is in the championship round of the ballpark vote on Sporting News, and is in position to shatter the bracket after receiving a low seed.
