Jonathan Lucroy is getting a break today as the Brewers take on the Pirates following an 11-2 defeat last night. In his stead will be Martin Maldonado, who is making just his third start of the 2014 season. In his first two he has collected one hit -- a double -- in seven at-bats.

The rest of the lineup is fairly typical. With Lyle Overbay gone, Mark Reynolds continues to start against right-handed starting pitchers. Khris Davis moves up to the number five spot in the order in Lucroy's absence. However, Davis has really struggled recently with just one hit in his last five starts.

Kyle Lohse started off the year solid, but really shone earlier in the week against the Pirates. He nearly pitched a complete game but was pulled when needed just one more out in the ninth. He finished with one run allowed on four hits along with nine strikeouts. He'll look to do it again tonight.
