The Brewers lost their second consecutive game today, but here's some small consolation: 12 years ago today the Brewers beat the Cubs...and improved to 14-29 on the season.
The 2002 Milwaukee Brewers were easily the worst team in franchise history, finishing with a 56-106 record. That was eleven games worse than the fifth place Cubs, back when the NL Central still had six teams in it. Yet I'm guessing a fair number of you still remember some of the players from that awful group. How many of them can you name in ten minutes?
If the quiz isn't displaying correctly for you here or you'd simply prefer to take it over there, follow this link to take the quiz at Sporcle.com.
Maybe I should've given you less time, because thinking about the 2002 Brewers for ten consecutive minutes might be detrimental to your mental health. Take the quiz at your own risk.
If this quiz does in fact cause you to have any kind of adverse reactions, then you really should blame AZ Snakepit. I stole the idea from them.
