As expected, Jean Segura is back in the lineup for the Brewers as they begin the unofficial second half of the season against the Nationals. Segura, of course, had been in the Dominican Republic for a week with family as they mourned the loss of their young son.

Rather than stay home, however, Segura has decided for himself that the best way to move forward is by rejoining the team and starting back at work as soon as possible. His teammates and management will certainly be right there with him moving forward, providing as much support they can give.

The rest of the lineup remains relatively unchanged. The Brewers are clinging to a one game lead in the NL Central after a rough stretch prior to the All Star break. Here's hoping they come out of the gates hot. And here's hoping Segura picks up a couple of hits, and not just for baseball reasons.
