The Brewers couldn't extend their winning streak to six games, running into a rough game from the pitching staff. Jimmy Nelson had a rough start, pitching 5 1/3 innings and allowing four runs, nine nits, and two walks. The bullpen didn't fare much better, with Zack Duke, Brandon Kintzler, and Will Smith all allowing runs as well. Carlos Gomez went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a home run in the loss, and Gerardo Parra also had two extra-base hits in the loss.
