Aside from the Wild Card play-in games today is the first real time in 2015 that we have an elimination game. Much to the surprise of many the Rangers have taken the first two games from the Blue Jays. If one team was going to sweep a series I think most people would have bet on the Blue Jays not the other way around. That's the second game today.
The first game this afternoon will pit former Brewers against other former Brewers. The Royals have Alcides Escobar and Lorenzo Cain starting today. The Rangers will feature Carlos Gomez who is making his first start in a bit after dealing with a side injury. This series is currently tied at one apiece.
