Both NLDS Game 3: Game Thread

Well today's baseball marathon is about half over. But don't worry we've still got six hours of games left!

Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

With two games down the Cardinals and the Cubs are all tied up. Now the series takes itself to Chicago. Hopefully the babies in the greater metropolitan area are all safe and accounted for. The Dodgers and Mets are also all tied up. The Utley slide and subsequent suspension has taken all the headlines lately though. Utley is appealing the suspension and will be active tonight. Whether or not he starts is a different question. The latest word on Twitter is that his suspension won't be heard for days so it's possible Utley will be active for the entire Mets series. It should be interesting to see what happens but I'm personally hoping there is no retaliation.
