Both NLDS Game 4: Game Thread

The NLDS could come to an end today as both games are of the elimination variety.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

I think the Blue Jays losing their first two games has been the biggest surprise of the postseason even though they've managed to force a Game 5. Perhaps the second biggest surprise, to me, has been the Mets working over the Dodgers the way they have. They currently own a 2-1 series lead. Today they could eliminate what has almost universally appeared to be the World Series favorites since the season started.

On the other side the upstart Cubs have taken their own 2-1 series lead over the Cardinals. It's somewhat surprising as the Cardinals are notorious baby eaters and the Cubs feature a lot of baby bears on their squad. Should the Cubs win today it'll be all over for St. Louis. While I don't particularly care for the Cards I find myself rooting for a Game 5 here just for the sake of more baseball!
