Blue Jays at Royals ALCS Game Thread

Game 1 of the ALCS takes place this evening and a familiar face will be on the mound for the Blue Jays.

Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

The Blue Jays are now likely the World Series favorites but one cannot over look the Royals. They made it to the World Series last year and beat out presumed favorites the Houston Astros in the American League Division Series. Neither team's rotation is all that impressive outside of their aces--David Price for Toronto and Johnny Cueto for Kansas City. I do have a soft spot in my heart for Marco Estrada though and he's making the start tonight for the Jays. There is no doubting the Blue Jays are the greater offensive threat. They outscored every other team in baseball by an incredibly large margin.
