BCB Community Prospect Rankings #12

Amid some unfortunate controversy, your choice for No. 11 Brewers prospect was Corey Knebel. Today we vote for No. 12.

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Hello and welcome to day twelve of our community prospect ranking project. Yesterday we held the vote for the Brewers Number 11 prospect. Your choice was Kyle Wren. This result is surprising and I'm sorry to say more than a little suspect.

I went to sleep late last night and the voting was close to a 3-way tie between Corey Knebel, Kodi Medeiros, and Wei-Chung Wang. I don't remember how many votes Wren had (I think it was actually zero), but I do remember there were about 67 total votes and now there are 140 (and counting). It seems unlikely that between 4:00 am and 10:00 am Wren would receive the majority if not all of the 73 additional votes. Not without some kind of cheating.

I hate to have to step in and make a judgement call like this, but I feel I must. Unfortunately, I'm compelled to disqualify the votes for Kyle Wren. Instead of him the No. 12 spot will go to the player with the next highest vote total: Corey Knebel.

Please remember, this is supposed to be a fun exercise for any and all Brewers fans. Vote once only and try to enjoy the process. If you can't do that, then please allow everyone else the courtesy.

1. Orlando Arcia 11. Corey Knebel
2. Tyrone Taylor 12.
3. Clint Coulter 13.
4. Monte Harrison 14.
5. Luis Sardinas 15.
6. Gilbert Lara 16.
7. Devin Williams 17.
8. Ty Wagner 18.
9. Taylor Williams 19.
10. Taylor Jungmann 20.

We'll continue today with ten candidates for the Number 12 spot. I'll let you scroll down to see the new addition to the poll.

In an effort to not influence anyone, I'll be listing the prospects alphabetically by their last name. But first I have some prospect lists to link for you to check out if you want to find more information on each prospect. Let me know in the comments if there's a list I missed that you think is worth including.
