The move opens up room on the 40-man roster for Francisco Rodriguez, signed last week. Hall, drafted in the 4th round of the 2009 draft, missed all but five games last year due to bone spurs in his right elbow. When he did pitch, though, he was fairly effective with a 2.77 ERA in Double-A Huntsville.
