Actual list of craft beers available at Miller Park

Eater' s list is a bit incomplete

The website Eater.com released a life of craft beer line-ups at every major league stadium today. But if you're like me, you scrolled to the Miller Park entry and noticed it's a little on the short side:

Craft beers available:
Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Bell's Oberon Ale
Milwaukee Brewing Company O-Gii
New Belgium Brewing Ranger

I wasn't the only one confused by the list.

Others wondered about the inclusion of beers like Yuengling and Blue Moon as "craft" - but you can take up the definition of "craft brewery" with the Brewers Association.

For argument's sake, I'm willing to accept that the point of the article was to show the beer options that are outside the Miller/Bud box (or in the case of Wrigley, Old Style).

But if you're Eater (or Eater Drinks) - a site meant to be the go-to for all things food and beverage, shouldn't you get the list at each stadium at least close to comprehensive? Because this link has gone out far and wide today and it falls woefully short.

There's always been some snark about the types of beers sold at the "Craft Beer" stands across MLB, but Brewers fans do have plenty of options. There are the Craft stands with beer on tap, but there are also several specialty stands selling a wide-array of craft beer in cans. A notable addition this year has been a couple of booths with Crispin on draught.

According to Caitlyn Moyer, Brewers' director of New Media, here's the actual, complete list of craft/microbrews available at Miller Park:

Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy
Leinenkugel's IPL
Leinenkugel's Canoe Paddler
Redd's Apple Ale
Blue Moon
Blue Moon White
Smith & Forge Cider
New Glarus Spotted Cow (12 oz bottle)
Lakefront Riverwest Stein (12 oz bottle)
Lakefront New Grist (Gluten Free)
Bell's Oberon
New Belgium Fat Tire
New Belgium Ranger
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Sam Adams Rebel IPA
Crispin
Point Nude Beach
MKE Brewing Company Louie's Demise

The Brewers also make it pretty easy for you to find exactly what you're looking for with their interactive Ballpark Map. If you check the box next to Food, you'll get a screen similar to this. If you click on a specific icon on the map, it will tell you what the stand is and that pop up includes a hyperlink to its menu. (The interactive map also have charging stations, ATMs and other amenities on it).

The Map is available online here and through the free MLB At the Ballpark app.

In the end, let's just be thankful this list now exists and know that there are many, many options with which you can drown your sorrows during this sure-to-be stellar season of Brewers baseball.
