Lineups tend to not matter a whole lot, but the general rule to follow is that your best 3 hitters should hit 1st, 2nd, and 4th to maximize at-bats and scoring leverage. This lineup change is less out of optimization and more out of a desperate attempt to shake things up after an awful start, but it sure is interesting to look at:

Mixing things up so drastically is often just a manifestation of panic and frustration, but there's no harm done to the lineup and if it helps this sorry offense get a mental jump on tonight's game, I'm all for it.
