The Brewers released their lineup for Friday's series opener against the Cubs a couple of hours ago, with Aramis Ramirez starting at third base. Since then, however, the team has decided to scratch the third baseman due to hamstring tightness. Luis Jimenez will take his place at third base:

Given he was in the starting lineup at first, there's probably no real long-term worry for Ramirez. Still, he is 36 and has often been prone to smaller injuries here and there. Another day off might do him some good, as well: The notoriously slow-starting Ramirez has hit for just a .214/.236/.357 line so far in 2015.
Meanwhile Adam Lind also gets the day off as the Brewers face lefty Jon Lester. In his place, Jason Rogers will see if he can't get a hit or two off the Cubs big free agent signing.
With all the injuries, the only players in Friday's lineup projected to be starters all season are Ryan Braun, Khris Davis and Jean Segura.
Wily Peralta will oppose Lester. In his last start, the right-hander gave up two runs over six innings to the Cardinals. The Brewers are one of just two teams that have not had consecutive wins this year, but have a chance to achieve that today.
