The Brewers fell behind by too much early and couldn't come back enough late. The White Sox put up three runs against Jimmy Nelson in the first inning, including solo homers from Avisail Garcia and Adam LaRoche. They got another in the seventh to take a 4-0 lead before the Brewers scored a run apiece in the eighth and ninth innings to cut the lead in half but fall well short of a comeback.

The Gomez's almost combined to hit for a cycle, as Carlos homered and Hector chipped in a double and triple. Ryan Braun, Khris Davis and Elian Herrera had the only other Brewers hits against Jose Quintana.

The Brewers have a day off Thursday before coming to hang out with me in New York for a three-game series against the Mets.
