This Weekend's Results
Aramis Ramirez put on a show on Friday, doing more than enough to carry the Brewers by himself. He went 3-for-4 with five RBI in the game, all coming on doubles. It backed up a good outing from Mike Fiers, who allowed three runs in seven innings of work. Gerardo Parra and Adam Lind each also had three-hit days in the win.
Jimmy Nelson's up and down season continued on Saturday. He allowed seven runs in five innings to the Nationals on Saturday. Jean Segura and Scooter Gennett accounted for the two Brewers runs scored in the game.
There's not much to say about this one. Max Scherzer nearly had a perfect game. He struck out 16 Brewers in the start. The one hit he allowed was a single to Carlos Gomez. Taylor Jungmann took the tough loss after allowing two runs in five innings.
