Yesterday's Results

Brewers 6, Braves 5

The Brewers were close to being swept at home. A four-run third by the Braves put the Brewers in an early 4-0 hole. However, the Brewers fought back. Khris Davis hit a two-run home run to put the Brewers on the board, and Carlos Gomez hit a solo home run to bring the Brewers within a run. The Braves would add another run in the seventh, but Carlos Gomez hit another home run, this time a three-run shot, in the eighth inning to put the Brewers ahead. Francisco Rodriguez pitched around a baserunner in the ninth to record the save and the Brewers win.
