Yesterday's Results
It was a back and forth game last night in Pittsburgh. The Brewers got three runs on the board early, but the Pirates recorded single runs in the fifth, seventh, and eighth innings to tie the game. It would end up going into extra innings, where the game remained tied at three until the twelfth inning. Ryan Braun drove in a run on an RBI single, and the Brewers brought in Francisco Rodriguez to close it, but he allowed a home run to Gregory Polanco to tie the game at 4-4. However, the very next inning, Logan Schafer gave the Brewers the lead again with an RBI single and Luis Sardinas tacked on an insurance run. Kyle Lohse finished the game off with a scoreless inning to secure the win.
