Yesterday's Results
While the results weren't pretty for Zach Davies, the feelings coming out of his first start are positive ones. He allowed four runs on four hits and three walks in 4.1 innings pitched last night, but there was a lot to feel good about. His pitches were working well, and he kept the Pirates scoreless for the first three innings. Meanwhile, the offense made to score more than enough to back him up. Jean Segura and Ryan Braun both had three-hit nights, while Jonathan Lucroy, Khris Davis, and Adam Lind added two hits each. Lind also had a home run, and Lucroy drove in three runs.
