The Brewers tried to get some players through waivers this weekend, but Rymer Liriano didn’t make it through waivers and was claimed by the White Sox.

Meanwhile, four other players (Garin Cecchini, Sean Nolin, Andy Wilkins, and Jake Elmore) all did clear waivers and were outrighted to the minors.

The Brewers also brought in a pitcher, purchasing the contract of reliever Chad Nading from the Independent American Association.
