We're just over a week away from the start of Spring Training, and as the season gets closer, more preseason predictions are coming out. Today, one of the bigger predictors came out as the first over/under win totals were released by Atlantis Reno. The Brewers were set at an over/under win total of 71.5 wins for the 2015 season, putting them in fourth place in the NL Central.

Based on what we've been seeing from the Brewers this offseason, a prediction of 71.5 seems fair for this team in the upcoming season. The chances of putting together a winning season are low, but they are also not predicted to be the worst team in all of baseball. In fact, four teams (Phillies, Braves, Reds, Rockies) were all given lower predictions for their win total.

It's important to note that betting numbers are not based solely on a team's predicted performance. Other factors, such as the betting patterns of the betters, can push a line up or down. However, most of the time these tend to be good predictors for the upcoming season. In addition, with several weeks to go until Opening Day, this total will probably go up or down as Spring Training plays out.

In the NL Central, the Cubs led all teams with a predicted win total of 89. The Cardinals came in second at 87.5, with the Pirates were put at 87. That accounts for three of the highest seven totals in the National League. Meanwhile, the Reds came in just below the Brewers at 71. Overall, the Cubs had the second highest win total predicted, with only the Giants coming in higher at 90.
