- After Yovani Gallardo's deal with the Orioles hit a snag due to a medical issue, the deal was reworked to a two-year, $22 million contract with a $13 million option for 2018.
- Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton will begin the 2016 season on the disabled list with a knee injury.
