This Weekend's Results

Phillies 5, Brewers 2

Zach Davies rebounded a little from his last start with a six-inning start, allowing four runs. However, single runs in the first and ninth innings were all the Brewers could muster for offense.

Phillies 10, Brewers 6

In what was one of the longest games of the year (despite not going into extra innings), both starting pitchers didn't make it beyond the fourth inning, with Chase Anderson allowing six runs in four innings. Home runs by Ryan Braun and Chris Carter kept the Brewers in the game, but Jeremy Jeffress collapsed in the ninth to put the Phillies too far ahead to comeback.

Brewers 8, Phillies 5

Wily Peralta still wasn't on top of his game, but at least showed a little more progress as he continues to recover from a disasterous start to the season. Meanwhile, the Brewers offense picked hip up, using a six-run sixth to beat the Phillies.
