Yesterday was an interesting game. The Marlins starter, Adam Conley, held the Brewers hitless through 7.2 innings. Then in the 8th inning the Brewers came roaring back. They scored three runs, but it wasn't enough as the Marlins held onto a 6-3 lead.
Today the Brewers will give the ball to Chase Anderson hoping for a better outing than similar pitcher Zach Davies was able to give the team yesterday. His mound opponent will be Wei-Yin Chen. Chen was the Marlins big free agent acquisition. He's a good pitcher but has scuffled a bit in the early season with a 4.32 ERA.
It's interesting to note that Aaron Hill is starting at second base while Colin Walsh starts at third base. I'm assuming it's more about getting Walsh some innings over there. Hill has actually been pretty competent at third.
