This Weekend’s Results

Mets 2, Brewers 1

In one of the stranger games of the season, the Brewers and Mets offenses couldn’t score, and replays affected the game a few times. In the end, the Mets were finally able to score a second run to get the win.

Brewers 7, Mets 4

The home run ball was in full force as the Brewers hit five home runs, including one from starting pitcher Wily Peralta. Meanwhile, Peralta’s struggles continued on the mound with three runs allowed in five innings, but the Brewers offense backed him up.

Brewers 5, Mets 3

Zach Davies was excellent again, pitching six innings with just one unearned run before getting into trouble in the seventh, though Blaine Boyer protected his outing. Meanwhile, some excellent small ball from the Brewers paced the offense.

Giants 11, Brewers 5

The Brewers and Giants battled to a 4-4 tie through 5 1/2 innings, but the Giants offense scored seven runs off the Brewers bullpen to take a commanding lead.
