Brewers face off against the Athletics in a two game series starting tonight.

This is going to be a fun if not somewhat bittersweet two game series for me. If you've been a longtime BCB reader you probably remember how much I loved Khris Davis (almost as much as Noah!). So it will be nice to see Khris Davis return to Miller Park. He's have a pretty strange season so far. He's been league average offensively (100 wRC+) in spite of his OBP (.265!) thanks almost entirely to his impressive home run total (14 already!) Actually, now that I'm looking at it he and Chris Carter have been quite similar this year.

On the pitching side we'll see a match-up between two interesting young pitchers who have struggled in the early goings. RHP Zach Davies toes the rubber for the Brewers as the A's hand the ball to LHP Sean Manaea.
