The Pirates will send rookie Steven Brault out for his second major league start, after a solid season in AAA. He is 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA in just 4 innings pitched in the majors. The Brewers have actually been much better this year against pitchers just starting out than in the past.
The Brewers counter with their own rookie, Junior Guerra, who does have a track record, going 6-2 with a 2.85 ERA. I sure hope I get to put his name in this space for the Brewers for the rest of this season. At least.
