Do the M's still have Ichiro? Didn't he just get a milestone hit or something? Oh, he's gone? Dang. Come to think of it I did see him against the Brewers already this year...
Anyhoo, the Mariners are actually quite good. They stand at 64-56, and are 3 games out of the last Wild Card spot - third in those standings, if you will. Only the Orioles and Red Sox are ahead. Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz, and Kyle Seager lead a potent offense - all are over 20 homers and all are over 70 RBI. And all three are over .850 OPS. Could be a long weekend.
But the Brewers have a different look to the line-up tonight against lefty Wade LeBlanc (2-0, 4.68). With Domingo Santana back after a lengthy stay on the DL and starting in right, and Hernan Perez giving Scooter Gennett a day at second, the Brewers have an all righty line-up. Ryan Braun DH's, with Jake Elmore in left. Brewers' rookie Brent Suter makes his major league debut on the bump for the Crew.
