Game Thread #141: Brewers (63-77) at Cardinals (73-66)

If the season ended right now, the Cards would miss the play-offs. That sounds about right.

Jimmy Nelson tries to become the third Brewers veteran starter to show promise at the end of a disappointing season. Nelson sits at 7-13, with a 4.36 ERA. The Cards try and get back into second Wild Card spot with Carlos Martinez (13-7, 3.07) taking the ball. He has been tough this year.
