Sadly, the regular season is officially in the books for the Milwaukee Brewers, and the annual six month depression that is the baseball offseason has begun. Our beloved local nine finished with a 86-76 record and was the last team eliminated from playoff contention, finishing a single game out of the second Wild Card berth. Given the lack of expectations around this team entering the season, though, it’s tough to be too disappointed.
Now it’s time to make your voice heard and cast your votes for the Most Valuable Brewers of 2017! We’ll be voting for the top 10 contributors with both position players and pitchers eligible for the ballot. The composite WAR data presented is based on an average of each individual’s WAR according to Fangraphs, Baseball-Reference, and Baseball Prospectus. For players that were traded, only their production with the Brewers will be counted.
Yesterday, Orlando Arcia captured the title of MVBrewer #7. He has been removed from the list, and Josh Hader has been added. Voting will run through today before this poll closes closes and we begin voting for the #9 MVBrewer on Thursday.
