With the World Series and the Major League Baseball season officially concluding last night, the baseball offseason kicked off in earnest today. All players eligible for MLB Free Agency were able to file today, and 149 players across the league did so. As expected, that group included three players who spent time in Milwaukee last season: Matt Garza, Anthony Swarzak, and Neil Walker. Those players will now hit the open market in search of new contracts for 2018 and beyond. For more information on those players and the odds that they return to Milwaukee, check out our post from earlier this week.
