The 2018 schedule for Major League Spring Training was released earlier today, including for our own Milwaukee Brewers. Pitchers and catchers will officially report on Valentine's Day, February 14th, and position players are required to arrive by February 19th. The first full squad workout will take place the following day on the 20th. The Brewers will open Cactus League play on February 23rd with split squad matchups against the Cubs (home) and Giants (road). Cactus League play concludes on March 25th, and then the Brewers head off to Houston to play two exhibition games against the Astros at Minute Maid Park on the 26th (7:05 pm) and 27th (1:05 pm). The Brewers will open the 2018 regular season on the road in San Diego on March 29th, and have their 2018 home opener against the Cardinals on April 2nd at Miller Park.
