Groundhogs may disagree, but spring is almost here because it's Truck Day for the Milwaukee Brewers.

The team is packing up its truck of spring training gear and heads off to Maryvale today.

Pitchers and catchers report to camp on Valentine's Day, with the first full squad workout taking place later that week on February 18th. They'll play UW-Milwaukee in an exhibition game on February 24th and will start their pursuit of the prestigious Cactus Cup the next night against the Angels.

When the team takes the field, their spring uniforms will feature an, uh, interesting design feature:

The Brewers are marking their 20th anniversary in Maryvale, but rumors have swirled in recent years that the team might be toying with the idea of moving their spring operation to Florida.

Single-game regular season tickets will go on sale on Saturday, February 18th with the 10th annual Arctic Tailgate at Miller Park. Sales start at 9 a.m. that day, with a "very limited" number of Opening Day tickets being sold that day. Note that the Brewers won't allow anyone to camp out at the stadium before noon on Thursday, February 17th.

I don’t know about you, but it feels warmer to me already.
