While minor league games get underway today, the trimmed down Brewers came gets closer to Opening Day with today’s game. The starting rotation has only three more turns through it before we get to Opening Day, and Jimmy Nelson is getting his chance today with his second start of the spring. In four innings so far this spring, he has allowed just one unearned run on two hits, with six strikeouts so far. Meanwhile, Royals starter Nathan Karns has been roughed up in his spring training games so far, allowing six runs in seven innings.

It’s St. Patrick’s Day today, which means it’s time to break out the green for this afternoon’s Brewers game. Eric Thames was originally in today’s lineup, but was scratched due to right knee soreness. Here are the updated lineups:

First pitch is at 3:05 pm. Plenty of TV options for you today, the game will be on Fox Sports Wisconsin in-market and MLB Network out of market.
