In which the Brewers try to chip away at the first place Reds' three game lead

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The Brewers put their modest two game winning streak on the line against one of the surprise teams of the young season in the Reds. Newly departed former Brewer Scooter Gennett (rapidly reaching legendary status over at Red Reporter) will hopefully see the field in the series, and hopefully not do too much. He'll be on the bench to start tonight's game.

Milwaukee sends Jimmy Nelson (0-0, 1.50) to the mound to face sometime Brewer killer Bronson Arroyo (0-1, 13.50). Arroyo is 40, and if the Reds continue to play well his time in the rotation may be short. In a spring training game this year, Arroyo fanned seven Brewers in 3.2 innings.

The Brewers leave the DH behind in Canada, so Craig Counsell will have to juggle his twelve position players to provide meaningful PT for all.
