There were several roster moves over the weekend, and all of them were interconnected with each other. First of all, Kirk Nieuwenhuis was designated for assignment on Friday afternoon, and Brent Suter was recalled to put an extra arm in the bullpen. After that, the Brewers announced that they would activate Matt Garza on Monday, and Tommy Milone would join the bullpen. They finished this move Sunday night by sending Suter back to Colorado Springs, along with Kirk Nieuwenhuis, who cleared waivers and was outrighted there.
