Matt Garza makes his return to the mound in the start of the second Reds series.

Matt Garza is back.

Yes, I understand that those words send chills of terror through many of you. You would rather see Garza remain on the disabled list or be outright released. However, the Brewers aren't going to do that. They are going to give him a chance to rebuild his value. They are not going to let a piece that could provide some value to the team go without giving it every last chance that they can. As a result, Garza will get his opportunities. Hopefully he turns them into something good that can be used as a trade piece this season. If not, then they can release him later and at least know they did everything they can.

At least it's the start of a new series now. The Cardinals are gone and the Reds are in town. Starting for them tonight is rookie starter Amir Garrett. The Brewers did well against the Reds in their last series, winning 3 of 4 games in Cincinnati. Hopefully that success will translate to Miller Park.

Here are the starting lineups for today's game. First pitch is at 6:40 pm.
