Game Thread #52: Milwaukee Brewers (27-24) @ New York Mets (22-27)

Game two of four at Citi Field

Let's avoid a losing streak

The Milwaukee Brewers try to bounce back from a frustrating, lackluster loss to the New York Mets on Memorial Day. The Brewers remain in first place, but these can be opportunities to extend their lead, not feel relieved that they aren't blowing it.

Milwaukee will start righty Zach Davies (5-3, 5.33) against New York's Tyler Pill (0-1, 13.50), also a righty. This will be Pill's first major league start. His four seasons of AAA pitching have produced an ERA of 5.58, and a WHIP of 1.31. Time to crank up the first inning run machine, Crew!
