Game Thread #54: Milwaukee Brewers (28-25) @ New York Mets (23-28)

Let's get that split! Is it bad that I care about their record?

The 1/3 point of the season!

The Brewers' quick four game road trip ends this afternoon at Citi Field. A solid win over Jacob deGrom yesterday maintained Milwaukee's 1½ game lead over the Cardinals and dropped the slumping Cubs, losers of 6 straight) to 2½ games back.

The Brewers have Chase Anderson (3-1, 3.72) going on the mound, fresh off his dominating performance against the Diamondbacks in his last start. New York counters with the-other-almost-Brewer, Zack Wheeler (3-2, 3.83). Both almost-Brewers are in the line-up today.
