Milwaukee Brewers remain engaged with Detroit on possible Kinsler/Wilson deal

113

The Brewers reportedly completed their first trade of the summer yesterday, dealing outfielder Ryan Cordell to the White Sox in exchange for Anthony Swarzak. That allowed them to make a nice upgrade to their bullpen at a reasonable cost, leaving open the possibility of completing another, larger move before the July 31st deadline. One scenario that continues to be reported could be a possible swap with the Tigers that would bring Ian Kinsler and Justin Wilson to Milwaukee. The Tigers are reportedly trying to package assets together in an effort to shed payroll.
