The Milwaukee Brewers needed to make a roster move before tomorrow's game to clear a spot for Anthony Swarzak to join the team, and it will be Brett Phillips who gets sent back down to AAA. Phillips' 2nd stint in the big leagues this season lasted about 2 weeks and saw him collect 6 hits in 28 plate appearances, including his first 2 MLB home runs. Top prospect Lewis Brinson was called up today (and hit his first MLB homer) and figures to see a good amount of playing time in center field for the time being. It seems quite likely we will see Phillips again this season, at least in September if not before.
