Game Thread #105: Milwaukee Brewers (54-50) vs. Chicago Cubs (54-47)

Ready or not, this series is about to begin.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

There's no overstating the importance of this weekend's series in Milwaukee. The results will define the Brewers direction for the rest of the season. While they won't win or lose the division in this series alone, a series win will put them in position to contend for the rest of the season, while a loss will put them into a rough situation. This could also decide whether the Brewers will make another trade or hold with what they have. Hopefully you've prepared yourself mentally, though can any of us really be prepared for this?
