Game Thread #107: Milwaukee Brewers (55-51) vs. Chicago Cubs (55-48)

It's time for the rubber match. Can the Brewers win the series?

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The first two games of the series have been an even match between these two teams. Tied 1-1 in the series after two games (and 3-3 in "aggregate runs", if you follow stats like that), it comes down to the rubber match this afternoon. Zach Davies will get the start for the Brewers, who could use a long start after going through several pitchers in the bullpen yesterday. Meanwhile, one of our "favorite" Cubs pitchers, John Lackey, is starting on the other side. Can the Brewers take game three and win this critical series against the Cubs? Get ready to find out.
